Our Butterfly Mark

IWPA Butterfly LogoThe butterfly mark was created by IWPA to represent the benefits of waterless printing. The IWPA butterfly mark is recognized worldwide as the symbol of waterless printing. The trademarked logomark is available to IWPA members for promoting their use of environmentally responsible, sustainable waterless printing. The natural beauty and universal appeal of the butterfly make it the perfect choice to express the concept of waterless printing.

Butterflies are a litmus test for our environment. They give us early warning of pollution or other kinds of habitat degradation. When you print waterless, you help reduce paper waste and limit the use of volatile organic compounds, toxins and other potentially hazardous chemicals. In turn, you are doing your small part to preserve the butterflies.

The butterfly mark is available to IWPA members and sponsors for use in promoting waterless printing and its benefits.

We ask our members to use the mark strictly as it is intended: only on waterless printed material or to promote the benefits of waterless printing.
